Driving Range
Dress Code for Driving Range: Dress must be in good taste and designed for golf, and as approved by the Golf Committee. No bathing suits, blue denim, cut-offs, or short shorts (defined as shorts not reaching to finger tip length). No cargo style shorts or pants (defined as shorts/pants with outside pockets). No T-shirts or tank tops are permitted. Tennis apparel is not designed for the golf-course or driving range. Men are required to wear a shirt with a traditional golf shirt collar or a mock turtle neck measuring at 1 ½ inch in height. Ladies shirts require a collar if the shirt has no sleeves or if the shirt has sleeves-a traditional collar or mock turtle neck measuring at 1 ½ inches in height. Only golf shoes with soft spikes or flat-sole tennis shoes are to be worn on the course. Dress code is enforced by the golf professionals or the golf staff.
The driving range is located along the side of the #3 golf hole. You may get to it by either using a golf cart or driving your car and ysing the parking lot provided.
The driving range hours are:
Tuesday – Saturday 7:00am – 5:00pm
March & April- Tuesday-Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm
Sundays 7:00am – 4:00pm
Mondays – During season 12:00pm – 5:00pm
(Closed the first Monday of each month)
Off Season – Closed on Mondays
Practice range tokens are available at the Pro Shop for a nominal fee during normal operating hours. All baskets and balls are the property of the LYG&TC and are to be left on the driving range – not stored personally for later use. Members and guests are not allowed to retrieve range balls from the hitting area. Driving Range balls are not allowed on the golf course. Use of personally owned balls is not permitted on the Driving Range.
